ILP #2 "Design" Pinterest

Pinterest is a very useful tool for creating and designing lesson plans, as well as finding others to use. Pinterest is a form of social media that is based on the idea of sharing ideas, tips and tricks, and photos all of which are for inspiration. On my personal Pinterest I have collected a "board" of ideas, and lesson plans for English teaching, but also specifically for this project I formed the board around the idea of teaching The Great Gatsby. In this class I have done several project based on this book since it is so well known, memorable, and detailed enough to teach. My board consists of lesson plans from other teachers, ideas for class discussions and projects, as well as concepts for a history lesson of the setting of the book.
