Blog #5
My initial experience with Diigo was very good. I saw a lot of the features, and enjoyed using it while I browse, although personally I am unsure about how much I would use it personally since I already book mark and save webpages onto a reading list. With regular bookmarking I cannot comment on them, or features of them that I need like I can on Diigo. I however do not like the page posting we did in class, and the need to tag the bookmarks, it is not a feature I think I will need, or would practically use.
I have enjoyed blogging so far, it is something I have wanted to do, and tried to do a few times before. However, I have not loved doing it for class since I am forced to write on specific topics whether or not I care about them, or are inspired. I have learned more about certain topics as I have had to research them, in order to blog about them. I have also learned about how to format and protect my post.
I have used this web 2.0 tool before in on of my high school classes. I was super helpful for a project on a book, and provided an interesting way to discuss and present the book, without the typical powerpoint I was so used to. Glogster is a webpage that is a digital poster that can be used to display media such as text, images, videos, and other visually interesting aspects to enhance the experience of what could have been a boring project to watch and design. It worked well, and was fun and easy to use for my class, I will definitely be using this in my classes.

Thank you for sharing a new web 2.0 tool. I will go and see what Glogster looks like!
